Company History
Focusing solely on web site design and maintenance, WebGoddess Designs was founded in 1996 in Pennsylvania. Upon relocating to New Hampshire in 2001, I decided to offer clients the option of utilizing my extensive experience in office administration and expanded the business to include desktop publishing, general office support and a wide range of services in addition to expert web design. The expanded services merged with the web design business and became Lori Fogg, Virtual Office Assistant Services.
I have over 25 years experience working as an Administrative Assistant, providing a wide variety of office support services to private employers. I was Assistant to the Director of Special Projects for a well-known shirt manufacturer in their Factory Store Division. During that time, I assisted the Director with overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse from which all merchandise for the Factory Stores was received, processed and shipped out to the 125 individual stores in the division. My responsibilities also included supervision of 6 office staff and several dozen warehouse staff members and trouble-shooting, training and repair of the new computer register system used at the time in the stores.
I am a dedicated "Mom" to 11 adopted dogs and faithfully support the Hillside SPCA, a no-kill animal shelter in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. While a resident of Pennsylvania, I served on the Board of Directors of the shelter and was their Fund-raising Project Coordinator as well as their marketing and public relations director. I volunteered my services to design and maintain a website for the animal shelter in 1997 and have been solely responsible for the design, content and maintenance since its inception. I used my experience and organizational skills to successfully orchestrate several fund-raising projects for the shelter, including a very successful Charity Auction and a "Millennium Membership Drive".
Because of my dedication to the organization, I have continued to be their Web Manager since moving to New Hampshire. The site I designed and maintain for the Hillside SPCA has won several awards, including "Pennsylvania Site of the Day". The website features photos of animals available for adoption - including "special needs" animals - and has a wealth of information pertaining to being a responsible pet owner. The Shelter Manager estimates that nearly one third of the adoptions from the shelter are now directly related to the website. I am also the editor in chief of the quarterly newsletter published by the shelter.
I pledge to utilize my technical expertise and organizational skills to assist clients in growing their business. Thank you for your interest in Lori Fogg, Virtual Office Assistant Services.
